The turbine with blades tilted at a 45° angle is a hybrid device between the propeller and classic turbine. Its special feature is that it obtains a centrifugal radial effect, combined with a vertical axial effect. It can also be used to start off mixtures in decantate.

DESIGN OF THE 45° ANGLE TILTED TURBINE

Definition basis: Tilted turbine with straight blades
Number of blades: 2, 3 or 4
Rotation direction: Clockwise or anticlockwise (according to the required flow)

FLOW OF TA STIRRING DEVICES - USE

Blown flow:
Vertical from top to bottom (axial and radial distribution)
Vortex creation
A stirrer equipped with a blown TA can be mounted centred with counter-blades or offset without counter-blades.
Shear effect at max. speed (peripheral speed)
Risk of the introduction of gas into the mixture

Applications:
Creation of suspension, dissolution, dispersion, dilution, disintegration and mixing of non-miscible liquid.

Suction flow:
Vertical from bottom to top (axial and radial distribution).
A stirrer equipped with a blown TA can be mounted centred with counter-blades or offset without counter-blades.
Bubbling on a liquid surface
Shear effect at max. speed (peripheral speed)

Applications:
Creation and holding of suspension, dilution.
